Alignerr Corp. is seeking an Application Security Analyst (AI Training) to help shape how security risks are interpreted by next‑gen AI systems.

You’ll analyze real‑world application security scenarios, weighing exploitability against remediation quality, across code, APIs, and system behavior. You’ll work remotely on a flexible, hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, joining a global community of security experts to produce high‑quality training data and actionable insights for AI safety

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security roles.
• Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities found in production systems.
• Ability to reason about real-world exploitability beyond textbook definitions.
• Clear, structured written communication when explaining security concepts and decisions.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze realistic application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior.
• Classify vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses.
• Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies.
• Distinguish genuine, exploitable risk from theoretical findings.
• Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets for AI training.
• Provide structured, clearly written security analysis as high-quality training signal.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses
• Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies
• Distinguish genuine, exploitable risk from theoretical or overstated findings
• Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that help AI systems accurately assess application risk
• Provide structured, clearly written security analysis that can be used as high-quality training signal

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in application, product, or software security roles
• Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities found in production systems
• Strong ability to reason about real-world exploitability — not just textbook definitions
• Clear, structured written communication skills when explaining security concepts and decisions
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous, task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with security code review, penetration testing, or bug bounty programs
• Familiarity with secure development frameworks or threat modeling
• Background in writing security documentation, reports, or advisories
