Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training) to support the training and evaluation of AI systems with real-world threat intelligence insights.

The role focuses on adversary tracking, TTPs, and CTI workflows to shape how AI understands cybersecurity threats. This remote, hourly-contract position offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI research labs partnered by Alignerr.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of threat intelligence, SOC, or security operations experience.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT methods, or CTI workflows.
• Ability to critically evaluate threat reports for realism.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns.
• Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism.
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems.
• Review AI-generated cybersecurity outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or fabricated data.
• Apply your expertise to help AI distinguish genuine attacker behavior from noise.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and classify threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security operations
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection methodologies, or CTI workflows
• Able to critically evaluate threat reports and identify realistic vs. fabricated attacker behavior
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and asynchronously

Nice to Have

• Experience writing or reviewing threat intelligence reports
• Familiarity with structured intelligence formats (STIX, TAXII, etc.)
• Background in red teaming, malware analysis, or incident response
• Prior involvement with AI or machine learning projects
