Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a Weight Engineer to manage program weight status from concept to production launch. You will work with a cross-functional team to track component and vehicle weights and publish official weight reports and spring tables for assembly plants.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive product development, strong data-analysis skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Remote, hybrid, or on-site work options are available depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university and 5+ years in automotive product development.
• Experience analyzing data, deriving actionable insights, and presenting recommendations.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Manage program weight status for one or more vehicle programs from concept to production launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track component and vehicle weights throughout development.
• Publish weight reports and maintain spring tables for production assembly plants.
• Develop and refine vehicle weight estimates with the Weight Lead and Program Team.
• Monitor weight-related bulletins, audits, and EPA-related options and communicate impacts.
