Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a Weight Engineer to manage weight status across multiple vehicle programs from concept to production launch. You will work with a cross-functional team to track component and vehicle weights and publish official weight reports and weight scorecards.

You will refine weight estimates with the Weight Lead and Program Team, support spring development with Chassis Engineering, and monitor monthly weight metrics and EPA options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive product development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage program weight status from concept to production launch.
• Publish weight reports and maintain vehicle weight scorecards.
• Collaborate with Chassis Engineering and Weight Lead on estimates.
• Conduct weight audits and monitor EPA options.
