Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer to support vehicle program development in a remote role for Mexico. You will drive quality targets, coordinate APQP/PPAP deliverables, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams to converge on project quality goals.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience, knowledge of Lean and quality methods, and English proficiency. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, and knowledge of Quality and Lean methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of industrialization and project management processes, including APQP and PPAP methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and issue-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools; TeamCenter CAD knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with statistical control concepts.
• Leadership capabilities, results-oriented mindset, self-motivated approach, and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive the achievement of quality targets during development activities for one or multiple vehicle programs.
• Coordinate APQP-PPAP deliverables and ensure required documentation is completed and maintained.
• Lead activities to prevent issue recurrence, manage risks, and drive quality convergence toward project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project quality targets established by the BCI Department.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across project, engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams.
• Define milestone actions and deliverables, monitor KPIs, assess results, and manage escalations and recovery plans for non-compliance risks.
