Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a temporary Risk Advisory GRC Intern to support governance, risk and compliance engagements while learning how security programs are built and measured. You will join real client work, document evidence, and assist with policy and third-party risk tasks.

The role targets university students in their final three semesters, with English proficiency and the ability to work 20 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Business, Finance or related field.
• Strong interest in risk advisory and GRC.
• Advanced English (C1/C2) required.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Authorized to work in Mexico without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Resumes must be in English.

Aufgaben

• Support governance, risk and compliance engagements for clients.
• Gather, organize, and analyze client evidence for controls.
• Draft assessment workpapers and sections under guidance of senior consultants.
• Help build risk registers, remediation plans, and maturity roadmaps.
• Assist with drafting and reviewing security policies and procedures.
• Support third-party risk management activities and vendor reviews.
• Learn to use GRC platforms like Vanta and Drata for tracking controls.
• Gain exposure to AI governance work and ISO/NIST frameworks.
