AlphaGov is hiring a full-time Project Manager to oversee multiple engagements for government and public-sector clients. You will manage day-to-day delivery from kickoff to closeout, working directly with clients, SMEs, and internal teams to convert scope into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple client-facing projects from kickoff through completion.
• Direct experience delivering projects for government or public-sector clients at various levels is preferred.
• Experience coordinating SMEs, consultants, researchers, or other professionals is required.
• Ability to translate statements of work into practical delivery plans.
• Strong written and spoken English, including client meeting leadership and updates.
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and judgment with competing deadlines.
• Experience using project management software, spreadsheets, and remote collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings with clients, SMEs, and stakeholders to confirm scope and milestones.
• Translate contract requirements into clear task lists with owners and deadlines.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and optimize resource allocation.
• Coordinate with SMEs daily to assign work and address obstacles.
• Maintain schedules, logs, risk registers, and status updates for leadership review.
• Act as the primary client contact, guiding meetings and decisions.
• Coordinate research, data collection, analysis, and report development.
• Review deliverables for scope alignment and quality checks.
• Track hours, budgets, and resources; flag overruns early.
• Document scope changes and obtain approvals before new work.
• Maintain organized records, notes, and version control.
• Manage client feedback, revisions, acceptance, and closeout.
