Job summary

Alta Advisors seeks an FP&A Manager to deliver flexible, execution-focused financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for a portfolio of venture-backed technology clients.

You will work with Alta’s senior finance team, leveraging AI-enabled workflows, Google Sheets, and Excel, while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining data security. This is a fully remote contractor role based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of finance experience, FP&A or strategic finance roles.
• Experience supporting venture-backed technology companies preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• Deep experience building complex financial models in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Strong ability to visualize quantitative information using Google Slides.
• Excellent communication, meeting leadership, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• As FP&A Manager, provide flexible, execution-focused support across Alta’s venture-backed clients.
• Deliver modeling, forecasting, reporting, and analytics with minimal supervision.
• Work within templates and QA processes; use Google Workspace tools.
• Communicate assumptions, risks, and schedules; document for reviews.
• Leverage AI tools to speed model reviews and improve accuracy.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows with sound data-security practices.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses; update models.
