Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a FinOps Lead to align cloud infrastructure costs with product economics and business growth in a fast-evolving technology environment. You will partner with Finance, Engineering, Product, Data, and HR to make costs transparent, measurable, and actionable.

As a strategic Finance Business Partner, you will drive cost allocation, forecasting, and modeling of unit economics while supporting scalable decision-making and responsible spending across Tech and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure spending across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent.
• Strong FinOps principles including cost allocation, tagging, resource optimization, and unit economics.
• Ability to translate technical usage into clear financial insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud billing data, cost-management platforms, and analytical tools to identify spending patterns and drive optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL or related data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation strategies, tagging frameworks, and dashboards providing visibility into spending across teams, products, and features.
• Identify optimization opportunities through rightsizing, commitment management, waste reduction, and anomaly detection with cross-functional teams.
• Connect infrastructure spending to revenue and gross margin in collaboration with Data and Finance teams.
• Own rolling cloud infrastructure cost forecasts considering growth, usage, and architectural changes.
• Partner with Product and Engineering early in development to assess financial impact of new products and features.
• Model how costs evolve with usage and growth scenarios to inform pricing and scalability decisions.
• Build pre-launch cost models and contribute to product profitability assessments.
• Provide leadership on resource allocation, including fully loaded costs and changes over time.
