Jobgether is seeking a Data Scientist (Time Series Forecasting) based in Mexico to join a data-driven team powering a live energy trading platform. You will design forecasting models for weather, energy prices, and grid demand, translating ideas into robust production code in a fully remote, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years in data science, forecasting or related work.
• Proven time series forecasting experience translating methods into solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL; Go is a plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in daily work.
• Excellent English communication in a remote, international setting.
• Knowledge of energy markets or weather/price datasets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine forecasting models for weather and energy markets.
• Translate algorithms into robust, production‑ready code for live trading.
• Analyze data, identify patterns, and improve forecast accuracy.
