Job summary

Jobgether, in collaboration with a partner, seeks a Data Scientist (Time Series Forecasting) based in Mexico to build and optimize forecasting models for weather, energy prices, and grid demand. You will translate analytical methods into production-ready code for a live energy trading platform in a fully remote, distributed team.

You will use Python and SQL, with exposure to agentic coding tools, to accelerate development and integrate models into production pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of data science or forecasting experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; Go is a plus.
• Experience with time series forecasting methods.
• Strong English communication in a remote, international team.
• Knowledge of energy markets or weather datasets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine forecasting models for weather, energy prices, and grid demand.
