Bluelight is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake and Python/PySpark. You will work with cloud-based ecosystems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes data modeling, SQL excellence, and governance, with opportunities to leverage BI tools like Power BI and modern DevOps practices. Remote-friendly with growth potential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines from REST APIs, databases, cloud storage and flat files.
• Snowflake proficiency with warehouses, streams, tasks, stages, Snowpipe and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL development to write complex queries and optimize large workloads.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling (star schemas, facts, dimensions).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark) and Snowflake.
• Build reliable data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to model data aligned with business goals.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and SQL queries for SLAs.
