Bluelight Consulting LLC is seeking an ETL Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure accurate, timely data for insights.

The role emphasizes scalable ETL designs, data quality, and governance in a fast-paced, client-facing environment that values continuous learning and collaboration across teams.

Formación

• ETL data engineering with Python (PySpark) for REST APIs, SQL tables and CSVs.
• Proficiency with Azure Synapse Analytics resources including Notebooks and Pipelines.
• Strong SQL, SparkSQL and MS SQL skills; knowledge of data integration best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using PySpark within Azure Synapse Notebooks or Pipelines.
• Design data warehouses with star schemas to support analytics and reporting.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files for ingestion.
• Optimize notebooks/pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Implement data quality checks and data governance controls.
• Collaborate with data architects to model data schemas per business needs.
• Monitor ETL jobs and resolve performance bottlenecks to meet SLAs.
• Document ETL processes, data flows, and transformations.
