Bluelightconsulting is seeking a skilled Data Engineer in Mexico to join a fast-growing analytics team. You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Snowflake, and Azure data tools.

You will ingest data from REST APIs, databases, and cloud storage, model data for analytics, and collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions. Strong SQL and cloud experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines extracting/transforming/loading data from REST APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, and flat files.
• Snowflake proficiency: virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, stages, Snowpipe, data sharing, and performance optimization.
• SQL: advanced development, tuning, and large-scale workloads.
• Data modeling: dimensional modeling (star schemas, fact/dimension tables).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark), Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build reliable, efficient ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to create logical and physical data models.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL queries to meet SLAs.
