Bluelight Consulting LLC is seeking an ETL Data Engineer to join our expanding data team. You will design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines using PySpark and Azure Synapse Analytics, collaborating with data scientists and analysts to deliver reliable, scalable datasets for decision making.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Azure Data Engineer cert is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark) for ETL and data transformation.
• Experience with Azure Synapse resources and SQL databases.
• Strong SQL skills; SparkSQL and MS SQL experience.
• Version control with Git; Agile work style.
• Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and data visualization.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using PySpark in Azure Synapse.
• Design data warehousing structures and star schemas in MPP pools.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Optimize notebooks and pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance compliance.
• Collaborate with data architects and cross-functional teams.
• Document ETL processes and maintain data lineage.
