Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative is seeking an experienced Job Cost Accountant to own the accuracy and integrity of job cost data across an active portfolio of construction projects. This role partners with Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure costs are captured, forecasts kept current, and reliable financial information is available for decision-making.

In this fully remote position, you will run cost reports in Sage 100, reconcile with Procore, manage the WIP schedule, and deliver

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of job cost accounting experience in construction.
• Hands-on experience with Sage 100 Contractor and Procore.
• Strong cost coding, WIP, and cost-to-complete knowledge.
• Excellent Excel skills for pivot, lookup, and reconciliation.
• Fluent written and verbal English; effective with US teams.

Responsibilities

• Run, review, and distribute weekly and monthly job cost reports from Sage 100 for all active projects.
• Reconcile Procore commitments, change orders, and invoicing against Sage 100 job cost detail.
• Identify variances and work with project teams to resolve discrepancies at the source.
• Review cost coding for AP invoices, subcontractor billings, labor, and equipment charges before they close to the job.
• Identify misallocated expenses and coordinate corrections with project stakeholders.
• Maintain an accurate cost code structure in collaboration with finance and project leadership.
• Ensure job cost information rolls up accurately for financial reporting, project analysis, and estimating feedback.
