Bluelight is seeking a senior software architect to design and lead high-performance, AWS-based services for diverse clients. You will shape data models, security, and API strategies while mentoring teams across the stack.

The role demands deep expertise in PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, RESTful APIs, and architectural decision records, with a focus on scalable, secure multi-tenant systems and end-to-end delivery.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS with distributed components.
• Experience designing to explicit latency budgets (p95/p99) and synchronous durable commits in hot paths.
• Experience building audit/evidence systems: append-only event logs and versioned models.
• Experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments and RLS considerations.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security at data-modeling level.
• Designing and building scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations to other services.
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills across the stack.
• Experience with capacity models and AWS Well-Architected projections.
• Ability to produce architecture docs, ADRs, and defend decisions in reviews.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily development; end-to-end large systems.
• Willingness to overlap US business hours; Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership, accountability, and client-focused delivery mindset.
