Bluelight is seeking a senior software architect to design low-latency AWS-based services and multi-tenant systems. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with diverse clients on cutting-edge projects.

The role requires deep expertise in PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, RLS, and RESTful API design, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, 3+ years in architecture-focused roles.
• Designing low-latency service architectures in AWS and distributed components.
• Experience with audit/evidence systems, and deterministic historical replay.
• Secure multi-tenant architectures with RLS considerations.
• Strong RESTful API design and SDK integration experience.
• Ability to mentor teams and produce architecture documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to challenging projects and develop high-quality applications.
• Lead architectural decisions and provide technical oversight.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams across US and LATAM.
• Create architecture diagrams, ADRs, and technical decision records.
