Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Chassis Steering Design and Release Engineer (DRE) for a remote role within Mexico. You will lead design, development, integration, validation and production release of steering systems, including EPS gear assemblies, tie rods, and mounting hardware, coordinating with multiple engineering domains.

The role requires 3+ years of design and release experience and hands-on CAD/PLM tool proficiency, plus strong English and Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct Design & Release experience in chassis steering systems or related mechanical commodities.
• Strong background in automotive product development processes (APQP/PPAP/DFMEA/DVP&R).
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Steering system design and component release ownership.
• Manage BOMs, option codes, ECNs, and part releases in PLM systems.
• Collaborate across Chassis Architecture, Vehicle Dynamics, E/E, Functional Safety, Quality, Manufacturing and Tier 1 suppliers.
