Job summary

Huzzle seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to join one of its client teams remotely. You’ll maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, process transactions, and support financial reporting for international clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero or Sage, and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Excellent written and verbal English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare invoices and track outstanding payments.
• Maintain the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Process expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks where required.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Ensure financial records are organized, accurate, and compliant with company procedures.
