Job summary
MiSalud Health is seeking a Mental Health Coach to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team in a remote setting across Latin America. You will provide bilingual English/Spanish mental health support via our digital platform, collaborating with doctors, community health workers, and other professionals to improve patient well-being.
The role focuses on accessible, evidence-based care, trauma-informed practices, and adherence to regional regulations while delivering high-quality,
Qualifications
- Valid professional license as a Psychologist or Counselor in Latin America (BA level in Psychology minimum).
- Experience in general mental health consultation and understanding of links between physical and mental health.
- Excellent patient service and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in bilingual consultations in English and Spanish via virtual format.
Responsibilities
- Conduct brief mental health screenings to identify concerns presenting as physical symptoms.
- Provide education and engagement on mental health topics tailored to patient needs and culture.
- Educate and engage patients in lifestyle changes for measurable health outcomes.
- Identify risk factors and refer for more comprehensive care when needed.
