Placements24 is seeking a talented Back-End Developer for its fully remote engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain robust server-side logic, APIs, and database integrations for our education SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code.
• Develop and manage robust APIs for integration with front-end apps and third-party services.
• Implement and optimize database schemas and queries for data integrity and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve back-end issues and bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging back-end technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical roadmap planning.
