Job summary

Placements24 is seeking motivated students for a Backend Software Engineering Internship. Work on server-side development, scalable architectures, and robust applications in a fully remote role across Mexico.

Learn modern practices and contribute from anywhere in the country. Eligible students are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/SE, with knowledge of Python/Java/Go/Node.js, RESTful APIs, and databases.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of programming principles and data structures.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python/Java/Go/Node.js).
• Familiarity with web frameworks (Django/Flask/Spring Boot/Express.js).
• Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, documented code in backend languages.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and feedback exchange.
• Debug backend issues to ensure stability and performance.
