Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code.
• Develop and manage robust APIs for integration with front-end apps and third-party services.
• Implement and optimize database schemas and queries for data integrity and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.

• Expertise in designing and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and web services.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work remotely in Mexico.
