Zusammenfassung

Coforge in Mexico is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Operations, DevOps and Platform Reliability Lead to own the cloud platform's reliability, drive IAM, networking, storage, and compute strategies, and supervise nearshore and offshore teams.

You will define observability with CloudWatch, Datadog and Splunk, implement IaC, CI/CD, and disaster recovery planning, and partner with SDE and Automation teams to reduce manual toil while ensuring secure, scalable services.

Qualifikationen

• 9–12 years of IT experience with AWS, DevOps, cloud operations, and platform reliability.
• Operational experience with AWS compute, networking, IAM, storage, and managed services.
• Docker and Kubernetes/EKS deployments, services, ingress, scaling, and cluster health.
• CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, artifact management, release automation, and env promotion.
• Terraform and/or CloudFormation with version control and reusable modules.
• CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk for dashboards, logs, metrics, alerting, and incident correlation.
• Leadership in major incident management, RCA, change governance, capacity and availability.
• Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell scripting/automation.
• English communication with clients and distributed teams.
• Experience in managed-services or SRE model for critical cloud services.
• Bachelor-level technical degree in Engineering/CS or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Lead AWS infrastructure, DevOps, and platform operations with L3 escalation.
• Troubleshoot AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, networking, IAM, compute, storage, and CI/CD.
• Coordinate incident resolution and service restoration across teams.
• Govern changes, deployments, patching, upgrades, capacity, and decommissioning.
• Define observability and alerting standards using CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk.
• Drive IaC, configuration automation, auto-remediation, immutable deployment.
• Review architecture, resilience, backup, scaling, and disaster recovery controls.
• Lead nearshore and offshore teams; ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Partner with SDE and Automation teams to improve reliability and reduce toil.
• Lead service transition: inventory, access validation, runbooks, deploy/rollback, readiness.
