Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for AI training in Ciudad Juárez. You will build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code, helping train AI systems to think like real developers.

The role is a fully remote, hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week and the freedom to set your own schedule. You will write solutions, review AI outputs, and provide expert feedback to make AI coding assistants smarter, safer, and more reliable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience reading, writing, and reasoning about code with clarity and precision.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across multiple languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works or doesn't.
• Design coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
