HireHawk Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a remote, full-time, long-term contracting position supporting a U.S.-based finance team. You will handle data entry, AP/AR, and administrative accounting tasks with emphasis on accuracy and organization.

The role involves processing invoices, reconciling records, and collaborating with U.S. colleagues in English while communicating with Mexican stakeholders in Spanish. A detail-oriented, process-driven approach is essential.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience as accounting assistant or similar role.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience entering accounting transactions with strong attention to detail.
• Familiar with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel: sorting, filtering, formulas, and data organization.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based accounting or finance team.

Responsabilidades

• Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Process invoices, vendor bills, customer payments, and credit memos.
• Assist with invoice matching and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized electronic accounting records and filing systems.
• Update spreadsheets and reconcile transaction listings with supporting documents.
• Assist with basic bank and account reconciliations by preparing supporting information.
• Review transactions for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent information.
• Support month-end activities by preparing schedules and gathering required documentation.
• Communicate with U.S. team members in English and Mexican stakeholders in Spanish regarding routine accounting matters.
• Follow established accounting procedures and maintain accuracy while working within the client's remote desktop environment.
• Perform other administrative and data entry tasks to support the finance team.
