Pangea is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support Leon, Saltillo and NVL plant operations in Mexico with a sense of urgency for plant maintenance needs.

The role requires an engineering degree, advanced English, and 3 years of leather maintenance experience, including TPM and KPI-driven improvements, while coordinating cross-site teams.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Advanced business English is required.
• Experience coordinating personnel is required.
• Extensive knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance in leather manufacturing.
• Quality system implementation experience.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to manage work teams and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years as maintenance engineer in leather business.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and implement methods to ensure equipment reliability in Mexico plants.
• Maintain safety conditions and report unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
• Manage Svision system for PM, predictive plans, parts codes and asset control for Leon, Saltillo and NVL.
• Implement standard work operations for all equipment.
• Implement TPM system.
• Monitor KPI performance and take actions based on results.
• Share maintenance best practices across Leon, Saltillo and NVL plants.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and laws in the process.
• Conduct maturity maintenance assessment audits every 6 months per plant.

Job objective

Support Leon, Saltillo and NVL equipment and building operations of the Maintenance process, with a sense of urgency according to the necessity of plants.

Requirements

• Engineering in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Advanced business English.

Main Responsibilities

• Promote and implement the methods and procedures to ensure the reliability for equipment in Mexico plants.
• Ensure that the maintenance team works with the necessary safety conditions, as well as reporting unsafe conditions and acts for the prevention of accidents in the Plant.
• Manage Svision system to ensure standard PM, predictive plans, tool crib codes parts and Asset control for Leon, Saltillo and NVL.
• Implement standard work operation for all equipment.
• Implement TPM system.
• Monitor KPI performance and create actions according to results.
• Promote and communicate maintenance best practices identified in Leon, Saltillo and NVL plants.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and laws in the process.
• Conduct maturity maintenance assessment audits every 6 months per plant.
