Real-Time Knowledge is seeking a seasoned software engineer to develop robust Linux-based components and contribute to real-time solutions. You will work on C, Python, and Shell applications, addressing customer issues and collaborating with global engineering teams.

The role emphasizes deep Linux kernel knowledge, Yocto familiarity, and strong communication skills in English. You will design use cases for Linux components and help patch distributions as needed.

Formación

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux platforms (kernel, user space, build systems).
• Experience with C, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Git and Jira is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of OS concepts and Linux kernel internals.
• Experience fixing and patching Linux distributions (Yocto, CentOS, etc.).
• Understanding processor architectures (ARM, PPC, MIPS, X86) or familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Support customers by resolving technical issues and providing solutions.
• Collaborate with global field engineering, premium support, and R&D teams.
• Contribute to open-source communities and fix defects.
• Monitor and resolve security issues.
