Canonical is looking for an Embedded Linux Field Engineering Manager to lead a team in pre-sales and professional services. The role requires extensive embedded Linux and programming experience, as well as strong interpersonal skills. It’s a remote position that involves coaching and mentoring a diverse team while solving customer problems. Formación

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
• Experience with customer engagements.
• Professional written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services.
• Solve customer problems by promoting our technologies.
• Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects.

Conocimientos

Embedded Linux experience – Yocto or other

Linux experience – Debian or Ubuntu

Fluent in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust

Interpersonal skills

Ability to manage a small team

Educación

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
