Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a production operator to join our adhesives manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating chemical processing equipment, maintaining safety and quality standards, and contributing to daily production targets.

You will work with mixers and reactors, document batch data, support maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste. Strong adherence to 5S and PPE guidelines is essential in this fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, reactors, pumps and other processing equipment according to procedures.
• Measure, weigh and load raw materials into production equipment following batch instructions.
• Perform in-process quality checks and record data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with 5S and safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and report abnormalities.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality guidelines, including PPE usage.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and basic equipment adjustments.
• Complete production documentation and ensure accurate inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
