What You'll Do

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Accrual & Cash Based Accounting (Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, Deferred Revenue, Revenue Recognition)
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Payroll and benefits processing
• Paying expenditures
• Billing services
• Recording income and deposits
• Balancing accounts (Prepaid expenses)
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Preparing financial statements (flow of information)
• Managing payroll
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Monitoring and reporting on accounting discrepancies
• Performing month-end and year-end close

Requirements

• Candidate must be based in Mexico
• Full Cycle Accounting Experience
• Experience in consulting and managing multiple clients
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (C1/C2 Level)
• Degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years experience with QuickBooks Online
• Ability to utilize and maintain accounting software platforms (Bill.com, payroll provider platforms, SaaS Optics, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years responsible accounting experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports
• Exceptional organizational skills and other critical success factors
• Ability to work with various personalities, cooperate with team members, and work under pressure
• Primary values include objectivity, accuracy, patience, meticulous attention to detail, goal-orientation, and quality output
• Experience working with small businesses with under $50 million in annual revenue
