Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is offering an R&D Trainee/Apprentice opportunity to support research and development activities for automotive electrical systems. You will work under supervision to design, test, and document components, while learning from experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes hands‑on experimentation, data analysis, literature reviews, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (recently graduated or expecting to graduate within 6 months).
• Strong academic record is expected.
• Basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist R&D engineers in the design, development, and testing of new automotive electrical components and systems.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results under supervision.
• Support the creation and modification of technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for product improvement and innovation.
• Perform literature reviews and research on emerging technologies and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production and quality, to ensure seamless integration of R&D efforts.
• Troubleshoot and debug prototypes and experimental setups.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
