Parker Hannifin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (R&D) in the Monterrey area to design, develop, test, and validate new products and components. The role emphasizes innovation, technical analysis, and solving engineering challenges with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include design from concept to release, simulations, test execution, and thorough documentation. Candidates should have 2–4 years of relevant experience and strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Inventor).

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of mechanical design or R&D experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• 2D–3D modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Desirable experience in sensor design.
• Engineering drawing standards and change management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• High proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through validation and release.
• Conduct engineering analysis, simulations and calculations to support design decisions and ensure product performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans, including prototype, testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Create and maintaining detailed engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Management during product development.
• Support designs for manufacturability, design for assembly, and cost optimization activities.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Support product changes, engineering change orders and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal engineering guidelines.
• Apply emerging technologies, materials and engineering best practices to drive innovation.
