The Kerry team is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to manage the site's quality systems related to customer complaints, product traceability, and document control. The role ensures compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality and operational effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years in quality roles in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and food safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end customer and consumer complaint management from investigation to closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Production, Quality, Logistics, Planning, and Customer Service.
• Analyze complaint trends and quality metrics for continuous improvement.
• Support audits related to quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the site's traceability program for materials and finished goods.
• Lead traceability drills and mock recalls to verify system effectiveness.
• Support product withdrawals and recoveries when required.
• Ensure compliance with GFSI traceability requirements and document control procedures.
• Administer document lifecycle management and record retention practices.
• Keep quality documentation current, approved, and accessible.
• Manage changes from audits, CAPA, regulatory updates, and MOC.
• Deliver training related to complaint handling, root cause analysis, traceability, and document control.

About The Role

The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the site's quality systems related to customer complaints, product traceability, and document control. This position ensures compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end customer and consumer complaint management process, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Production, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
• Analyze complaint trends and quality metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recurrence reduction.
• Support customer, internal, regulatory, and certification audits related to quality systems.
• Manage and maintain the site's traceability program for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Lead traceability exercises and mock recalls to verify compliance and system effectiveness.
• Support product withdrawal and recovery activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, food safety, and GFSI traceability requirements.
• Administer and maintain the document control system, including document lifecycle management and record retention practices.
• Ensure quality documentation remains current, approved, controlled, and accessible across the organization.
• Manage documentation changes resulting from audits, CAPA activities, regulatory updates, Management of Change (MOC), and process improvements.
• Monitor compliance with document control procedures and generate system performance metrics.
• Deliver training related to complaint handling, root cause analysis, traceability, and document control processes.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, QFB, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience within Quality functions in the food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Experience managing customer complaint investigations.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why's, Ishikawa, and CAPA.
• Knowledge of corrective and preventive action programs (CAPA).
• Experience with product traceability programs, mock recalls, and product withdrawal processes.
• Experience with document control systems and regulated documentation management.
• Knowledge of GFSI standards and food industry regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
