Job summary

BorgWarner in Mexico’s Durango area seeks a quality compliance professional responsible for maintaining plant document control, leading internal audits, and coordinating the internal audit program. You will train staff, update procedures, and ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and quality policies.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, 1 year of experience, English at least 80%, and willingness to travel and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an appropriate system for controlling plant documents and procedures, as well as the documentation structure.
• Provides training at the plant.
• Maintains an appropriate system for documenting new procedures and updating existing ones.
• Participates in the internal audit program for Mexican operations, if required.
• Maintains a system for audits and follow-up on corrective actions arising from internal and external audit discrepancies to ensure compliance.
• Generates feedback reports for the plant regarding performance and related information.
• Serves as coordinator and point of contact during internal and external audits.
• Coordinates a group of internal auditors and the implementation of the plant’s internal audit program.
• Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that employees adhere to policies, environmental procedures, and legal requirements applicable to the operations performed in their areas.
• Coordinates the collection of metric data and submits it to Mexican operations, while maintaining supporting documentation for each metric.
• Coordinates documentation regarding the plant’s participation in quality recognition programs.
