Job summary

Vibracoustic Toluca S.A. de C.V. in Toluca, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Manager on-site to lead the quality management system and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

You will drive process improvements, support APQP and PPAP activities, create capability studies, and maintain control plans while aiming for zero defects and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years in automotive industry with quality management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with the QMS per IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Ensure procedures/formats quality system are up to date and effective.
• Record problems related to quality system, product or processes.
• Represent customer needs in internal functions and APQP project teams.
• Manage PPAP submissions and control plans for new products.
• Set and monitor quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Quality Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with the Quality Management System, according to the requirements defined in IATF 16949 and customer's requirements.
• Ensure compliance to global and local procedures, in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the customers and the vision of zero defects.
• Ensure that procedures and formats quality system are kept updated.
• Identify and record any problems relating to the quality system , product, process and quality of the processes and / or procedures.
• Represent the “Needs of the Customer” in internal functions such as:
• - Member of the APQP project teams, with responsibility to contribute to successful launch of products.
• - Push for the selection of appropriate special characteristics during the APQP process.
• - Manage the preparation of capability studies, gage R&R, inspection instructions and control plans for all new products.
• - Manage the customer PPAP submission process.
• - Manage the continuous review of control plans and capability studies to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Setting and monitoring Quality objectives
• Manage for the highest level of customer satisfaction. Develop improvement plans when gaps are present.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
• 3 -5 years in automotive industry. Previous experience as a Tier 1 to the Automotive OEMs a plus.
• Advanced English
