TriMas Packaging S. de R.L. de C.V. - San Miguel in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the design and implementation of the organization's excellence management system, ensuring processes and products meet regulations, internal policies, and customer expectations.

You will drive risk prevention, coordinate audits, mitigate costs related to waste or returns, and leverage data analysis to guide continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Formación

• Experience as manager in a manufacturing or QA environment.
• Knowledge of production processes and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with quality standards and certifications.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Audit coordination experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement quality policies, manuals, and procedures.
• Address customer complaints with prompt responses and action plans.
• Understand client needs to develop effective quality control processes.
• Facilitate decision-making by implementing improvement strategies.
• Participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team
• Continuously review products, processes, and systems for improvements.
• Design quality procedures and specifications; ensure proper functioning.
• Work with operations to define quality procedures.
• Hire and train new quality control technicians.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain certifications and ensure compliance.
• Train personnel and promote continuous improvement; foster quality mindset.
• Ensure inspection/testing equipment functions correctly and provides accurate measurements.
• Supervise staff to provide guidance and support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Objective

A strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's excellence management system, ensuring that all processes, inputs, and final products strictly comply with current regulations, internal policies, and customer expectations. The role extends beyond mere inspection to drive an organizational culture focused on risk prevention, coordinate key audits, mitigate costs associated with waste or returns, and leverage statistical data analysis to guide decision-making toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quality policies, manuals, and procedures.
• Address customer complaints by providing prompt responses and implementing action plans.
• Understand the client's needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Facilitate decision-making by implementing improvement strategies.
• Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team
• Continuously review products, processes, and systems to determine where improvements can be made.
• Design quality procedures, standards, and specifications; implement them; and ensure their proper functioning.
• Work with operational staff to define quality procedures.
• Hire and train new quality control technicians.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain current certifications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train personnel, promote continuous improvement, and ensure that quality is a mindset at all levels of the company.
• Ensure that the inspection and testing equipment functions correctly and provides accurate measurements.
• Supervise technicians, inspectors, and other staff members to provide guidance and support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as manager
• Knowledge of production processes and the regulations governing the area.
• Mastery of quality standards and certifications.
• Proven ability to manage teams.
