Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Automotive Quality Engineer to support OEM quality for Ford and Stellantis. You will lead PPAP/APQP activities, manage audits under IATF 16949, and drive continuous improvement across stamping, assembly, and processes.

Strong problem-solving and cross-functional leadership are essential to deliver customer-ready quality documentation via OEM portals. Advanced English is mandatory, and a Bachelor's in Industrial, Mechatronics, or Automotive

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in automotive quality.
  • Proven experience working with Ford and/or Stellantis.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Tools, PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949, and CQI.
  • Advanced English required.

Responsabilidades

  • OEM Quality Management — Direct support for Ford and Stellantis, including KPI tracking, customer documentation, quality alerts, deviation management, and product releases.
  • PPAP & APQP Leadership — Preparation, review, and approval of PPAP packages according to Ford and Stellantis requirements, revalidations, Run@Rate, and project closure.
  • Audits & Quality Systems — Execution of internal audits under IATF 16949, CQI (Welding, Coating, Heat Treat, Plating), and customer-specific standards for Ford and Stellantis.
  • Failure Analysis & 8D — Root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive actions, customer communication, and closure of quality issues through Ford and Stellantis portals.
  • Production Process Management — Stamping, assembly, dimensional verification, SPC, scrap control, PFMEA updates, control plan management, and continuous improvement aligned with OEM expectations.
  • Customer Portal Interaction — Use of Ford eDDL, ePPAP, QLS, and Stellantis Supply Quality portals for documentation, releases, incident management, and follow-up.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Core Tools, PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949, internal audits, and problem‑solving methodologies, with hands‑on experience using Ford and Stellantis customer portals, documentation processes, and specific requirements such as CQI, CSR, and customer‑specific quality deliverables.

Main Responsibilities
