Franke LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product conformity through inspection per drawings and instructions. You will release finished products, document findings, and support quality analyses to guide decisions on production lines.

The role requires a Technical Degree or High School Diploma, at least 1 year in quality manufacturing, and hands-on use of calipers, gauges, penetrant and leak testing. Knowledge of NSF/UL/ETL/ANSUL standards is desirable.

Formación

• Technical degree or high school diploma in a relevant field.
• 1 year of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and using measurement systems.
• Knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges.
• Familiarity with leak and penetrant testing and welding knowledge.
• Understanding of NSF, UL, ETL, and ANSUL standards (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Release finished product by verifying conformance to drawings and inspection instructions.
• Document findings using labels and quality logs for decision-making.
• Release workstations based on drawings and instructions to ensure quality.
• Inspect and clean measuring/testing equipment to ensure proper function.
• Attend SCRAP analysis meetings for follow-ups and corrective actions.
• Track non-conforming materials (rework, deviations, missing components).
• Monitor electrical, performance, and engineering tests.
• Track new product launches (Franke PPAPs).
• Perform functional water leak and penetrant testing as applicable.
• Support containment and dissemination of quality alerts.
• Assist operator training on quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the job

Ensure product quality through the inspection process in accordance with the quality parameters established in the drawings and inspection instructions that help guarantee product conformity and customer requirements.

• Release finished product by verifying that it meets the established dimensional, functional, regulatory, and aesthetic parameters according to the drawings, inspection instructions, and procedures to ensure product conformity.
• Ensure that all findings related to the product are documented using labels and a quality log to support decision-making.
• Release workstations based on drawings and inspection instructions that guarantee compliance with quality requirements.
• Perform inspection and cleaning of measuring and testing equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
• Attend SCRAP analysis meetings as required for follow-up on analyses and corrective actions

• Thoroughly monitor electrical, performance, and engineering tests

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

• Blueprint reading and measurement systems
• Technical Degree or High School Diploma (Relevant field).
• 1 year of experience in Quality - Manufacturing Industry
• Knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, squares, surface roughness testers, torque wrenches, and ammeters
• Leak testing
• Application of penetrant testing
• Welding knowledge
• Knowledge of steels (304 vs. 430)
• Knowledge of NSF, UL, ETL, and ANSUL standards (desirable)
