Franke is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop innovative electrical solutions that enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency. You will own end-to-end electrical design, implement products, provide technical support and drive continuous improvement with global teams.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Technical English proficiency.
• CAD software knowledge.
• Experience in design, manufacturing, and production within metal-mechanical industry.
• Knowledge of electrical safety certifications (UL or equivalent).
• Practical knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, PBS, and AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical design and associated electrical engineering, generating solutions of advanced technical complexity.
• Produce complete electrical manufacturing documentation according to specifications within the defined timeline (electrical schematics, new controllers, wiring diagrams, harnesses).
• Develop technical devices for electrical testing.
• Initiate contact with the internal customer to clarify external customer expectations.
• Supervise implementation of the electrical product during and after production, gathering improvement opportunities and updating documentation accordingly.
• Provide technical instruction to Production and Quality Control departments.
• Design the electrical assembly process.
• Collaborate with Electrical Laboratory team on tests of furniture and devices.
• Implement new solutions that reduce costs and increase quality and reliability.
• Participate in process improvement workshops and in the Global Engineering Team.

About the job

Electrical Design Engineer focused on developing innovative electrical solutions that enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency. Responsible for end-to-end electrical design, product implementation, technical support, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with global teams to deliver customer-focused results.

• Electrical design and associated electrical engineering, generating solutions of advanced technical complexity.
• Produce complete electrical manufacturing documentation according to specifications within the defined timeline (electrical schematics, new controllers, wiring diagrams, harnesses).
• Develop technical devices for electrical testing.
• Initiate contact with the internal customer to clarify the expectations of the external customer.
• Supervise the implementation process of the electrical product during and after the production cycle, gathering information on improvement opportunities, introducing the necessary corrections in the documentation, and informing the following departments of the changes made: Production Planning, Production, Quality, Sales, Product Owners/Managers.
• Provide technical instruction to the Production Department and Quality Control Department.
• Design the electrical assembly process.
• Actively participate with the Electrical Laboratory team in performing the required tests of the furniture and designed devices.
• Implement new solutions in current electrical products that reduce costs and increase quality and reliability.
• Participate in process improvement workshops within the company, presenting ideas to improve/reduce product and production costs.
• Actively participate in the work of the Global Engineering Team.
• Ensure personal safety and the safety of coworkers.
• Build and apply the principles of Franke’s organizational culture.

Additional Duties

• Selection of components according to established rules (seeking standardization/unification).
• Selection of manufacturing technology to meet specification requirements.
• Arrange the production of prototypes for projects.
• Communication with the global team (Lessons Learned, Technical Excellence).
• Participation in technical (electrical) projects

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Technical English proficiency.
• CAD software knowledge.
• Experience in design, manufacturing, and production within the metal-mechanical industry.
• Knowledge of electrical safety certifications (UL or equivalent).
• Gas installation knowledge (desirable).
• Experience with food service equipment (desirable).
• Practical knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, PBS, and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Knowledge of the design and implementation procedures applicable at Franke FS.
