Nutreco is seeking a Quality & HSE Officer to support Quality and HSE across warehouses, coordinating with local teams in Torreón, Tepatitlán and Civac from Querétaro, with primarily remote work.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will perform gap assessments, improve systems, develop procedures, and drive data collection for Greenly Scope 3 while training personnel and escalating risks. This role emphasizes GMP compliance and risk-based site activities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the initial Quality and HSE gap assessment of warehouses and coordinate the implementation plan.
• Maintain and improve the Quality and HSE systems across the Tepatitlán warehouse.
• Develop and maintain applicable procedures, records, matrices and controls in line with Nutrace, legislation, certification standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate remote follow-up through meetings, evidence reviews, virtual walkthroughs and risk-based on-site visits.
• Provide Quality, feed/food safety and HSE training to warehouse personnel.
• Verify compliance with GMP, storage practices and applicable SADER/SENASICA requirements.
• Monitor controls related to identification, segregation, traceability, stock rotation, non-conforming product, returns, pest control and storage conditions.
• Investigate complaints, deviations and Quality issues, coordinate root cause analysis and follow up on CAPA effectiveness.
• Support traceability exercises, withdrawal tests, audits and closure of findings.
• Consolidate Quality and HSE indicators, analyze trends and communicate risks and required actions.
• Implement and verify controls related to hazard identification, risk assessments, legal requirements, PPE, safety signs, emergency preparedness, waste and contractors.
• Support the investigation of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and monitor corrective actions.
• Escalate conditions that may affect people, product, the environment, regulatory compliance or business continuity.
• Coordinate the Greenly Scope 3 work plan, calendar, responsible persons and deliverables for the Civac plant.
• Collect, consolidate and verify traceable data and evidence from the functions and suppliers involved.
• Maintain the supporting documentation and report progress, data gaps, risks and required support.
• Follow up on carbon-reduction opportunities and agreed improvement actions.
• The Quality & HSE Officer may request evidence, coordinate assigned activities, document deviations and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
