Job summary

Corning in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive understanding and continuous improvements of the Quality Management System and Product Quality Architecture. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards, design and analyze inspection processes, and lead Six Sigma initiatives while mentoring teams and maintaining rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

B.S. or equivalent technical degree.

Responsibilities

Develops, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into finished products.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place.
Implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the quality of products and production equipment.
Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes and conducts statistical analysis to assess quality and cost.
Audits quality systems for deficiencies and ensures corrective measures meet reliability standards.
Leads and coaches teams on quality tools, processes and Six Sigma methodologies.
Follows standard practices to analyze data and support quality decisions.
