Job summary

Latecoere México in Hermosillo is seeking a Quality & Special Processes Specialist to ensure application of the site’s Special Processes rules for all programs and customer requirements. You will maintain qualifications, act as the focal point for the site’s Special Process, support development and manufacturing, manage audits, tests, calibrations and corrective actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, advanced English and at least two years’ experience in testing or inspection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced English is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing or inspection environments.
• Confident with Excel.
• Meticulous, rigorous, motivated, organized with good teamwork attitude.
• Experience in testing or inspection environments is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow up the site’s technical qualifications.
• Act as focal point for the site’s Special Process.
• Identify and implement effective processes to support development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing.
• Manage customer and internal audits for site qualifications related to special processes.
• Follow up standards evolutions or customer specifications.
• Coordinate testing and calibration of programs, new products and chemicals according to standards.
• Provide technical support related to special processes across departments.
• Define the quality and technical requirements for Metrology activity.
• Address corrective actions following audit non-conformances.
• Create First Article Inspection (FAI).

ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsible to ensure application of the site’s Special Processes rules related to all programs; internally and by customer or standard requirements.

Special process: “Any process for production and service provision where the resulting output cannot be verified by subsequent monitoring or measurement. This includes any processes where deficiencies become apparent only after the product is in use or the service has been delivered.”

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to maintain and follow up the site’s technical qualifications
• Function in an active role as a focal point for the site’s Special Process
• Identify and implement effective processes to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
• Manage customer and internal audits for site qualifications related to special processes
• Manage, follow up and update the impact from standards evolutions or customer specifications
• Manage and follow up all testing and calibration of all program, new products and chemicals according to standard requirements
• Contribute to technical support related to special processes from all departments
• Define the quality and technical requirements for Metrology activity
• Treat corrective actions followed by audit non-conformances
• Create FAI (First Article Inspection)
