Job summary

Latecoere México is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure proper application of the Quality Management System within a dedicated program and customer standards. You will support the Quality Site Manager to fulfill requirements and promote quality practices across production and processes.

Responsibilities include developing quality culture, implementing process controls, and ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assure Quality culture on products and processes.
• Identify and implement process controls for development and manufacturing of products.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable docs.
• Promote use of problem-solving techniques for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor KPI’s related to Quality processes.
• Implement corrective actions from audits and customer claims.
• Create First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Provide engineering support to operations for quality techniques.
• Operate in accordance with quality system requirements as the voice of Quality Products.
• Contribute to QA communications and continuous improvement.
• Control documentation to ensure compliant deliveries.
• Report issues detected in production to Quality Department.
• Initiate or participate in 8D and 5 Why analyses as needed.
• Provide technical and administrative support as required.
• Attend internal/external meetings as required.

The Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure the correct application of LATECOERE’s Quality Management System within a dedicated program along with Customer Standards & Regulations

Support Quality Site Manager to fulfill actions, requirements and practices that meet the true interpretation of the QMS.

RESPOSIBILITIES

• Develop & Assure Quality Culture on products and processes
• Identify and implement effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
• Ensuring that products are in accordance with customer requirements in terms of specifications and applicable documents
• Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective actions
• Ensure performance & monitoring KPI’s related to Quality processes
• Monitor & implement corrective actions regarding audit results
• Monitor & implement corrective actions regarding customer claims
• Create FAI (First Article Inspection)
• Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques
• Perform duties in accordance with quality system requirements as the voice of Quality Product
• Take an active role in all QA associated communication including continuous improvement
• Controlling all documentation to ensure complaint deliveries
• Reporting all issues detected within production process to Quality Department
• Initiate and/or participate in 8D’s and 5 Why’s analysis when dysfunction detected or non-conformances are declared
• Provide technical and administrative support as required
• Support and attend internal/external meetings as required
