The Incoming Inspection Quality Engineer directly influences final product quality by ensuring compliant materials enter production and overseeing shelf-life control, supplier complaints, and defect charges. This role supports IATF 16949 and continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Formación

• IATF 16949 automotive standard knowledge.
• IPC-A-610/IPC-600 soldering/PCBA standards.
• Shelf life management of raw materials.
• Experience with quality tools: 8D, MSA, PPAP, APQP.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel; exposure to Opcenter Quality.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain raw material inspection and testing plans.
• Issue, track, and document supplier complaints with corrective action.
• Manage shelf life and disposal of expired materials.
• Coordinate receiving inspection and release/rejection of materials.
• Document inspection records as evidence of compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to define acceptance criteria and improve quality.
• Ensure materials meet QC specifications and standards.
• Implement and follow up on 8D, 5Why, and Ishikawa analyses with suppliers.
• Support audits and provide evidence of inspections and complaints handling.
• Drive continuous improvement in receiving inspection and supplier relations.
