Molex Guadalajara is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive internal and customer quality objectives by implementing and maintaining quality systems and monitoring their effectiveness. • Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of quality systems experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16946 and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, control plans).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities of quality technicians and auditors.
• Validate and define special characteristics with SQA and process engineers to meet product and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement QMS procedures according to Molex policies.
• Evaluate samples and prototypes and support NPI handoff improvement processes.
• Create quality control plans for in-process and final audits.
• Lead PFMEA continuous improvement and non-conforming material management.
• Act as customer interface for complaints, audits, PCN/ECN, and process improvements.
• Lead 8D problem-solving, lessons learned, and read-across initiatives.
• Coordinate reworks and inspections for non-conforming material.
• Participate in quality continuous improvement teams and audits.
• Drive scrap reduction and improvement projects.

Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to achieve internal and customer quality objectives by implementing and maintaining quality systems and monitoring their effectiveness. This role will lead problem-solving initiatives and propose strategies to meet quality targets while supporting manufacturing operations.

Our Team

You’ll join Molex Guadalajara, collaborating with quality technicians, process engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements and continuous improvement of quality systems.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate activities of quality technicians and auditors.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing quality systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16946 standards.
• Proficiency in SPC, control plans, FMEA, UL and CSA standards.
• Experience with problem‑solving techniques (8D, Six Sigma).
• Advanced English level and SAP proficiency.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
