MAHLE in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a quality engineer with a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a Tier 1 environment to support automotive quality operations.

You will perform failure analysis on main automotive assemblies, provide technical quality-system support, and coordinate 8D problem-solving activities. Collaboration with manufacturing and suppliers will drive continuous improvements across processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a Tier 1 environment.
• Experience in automotive business is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent communication, bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Failure analysis of main automotive assembly for primary customers dealing with 0km and warranty.
• Provide technical support to various departments regarding the quality system.
• Coordinate problem-solving activities / 8D reports.
• Lead FTTQ Action Plan contributors with monthly reporting.
• Oversee Scrap Action Plan for top contributors with monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate continuous improvement activities focused on reducing waste, rework, and process variation.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience in a Tier 1 environment.
• Experience in automotive business.

• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent communication Bilingual English / Spanish.

• Coordinate continuous improvement activities focused on reducing waste, rework, and process variation.
