Descripción de la vacante

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeks a quality analyst based in Tecomán, Colima (onsite). You will perform analytical evaluations of materials and products, document results, and support compliance within manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Food Chemistry, have experience in quality analysis, and are proficient with analytical techniques, MS Office, and SAP.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience in quality analysis or production processes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic to intermediate English level.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with good organizational skills.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night, 6 days on / 2 days off).

Responsabilidades

  • Perform analytical evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate, and finished products.
  • Execute pass/fail determinations during analytical inspections using defined controls.
  • Conduct confirmatory testing for non-conforming analyses.
  • Generate analytical documentation and accurately record data in systems and databases.
  • Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and manage laboratory supplies.
  • Provide timely and reliable analytical information to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in quality alerts, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
