Molex in El Salto, Mexico is seeking a QMS Engineer to support the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System within our Optical Solutions business.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure ISO standards and customer requirements are met, drive CAPA and root-cause analysis, and monitor quality metrics for ongoing improvement.

This role demands strong communication across functions and a proactive approach to quality excellence.

Formación

• Experience in a Quality Management System (QMS) environment.

Your Job

As a QMS Engineer, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) within our Optical Solutions business. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality processes while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

We collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Customer Quality functions to ensure compliance, promote best practices, and drive sustainable improvements throughout the organization.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support internal, external, and customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards and customer requirements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality system requirements.
• Experience utilizing problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
• Advanced English proficiency.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Experience supporting customer quality activities and complaint resolution.
• Knowledge of ESD requirements and controls.
• Experience leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience with optical products, fiber optics, or transceivers.
• Previous leadership or team coordination experience.
